Jennifer Lopez Signs On as Intimissimi's New Global Brand Ambassador
Jennifer Lopez is now Intimissimi's newest global brand ambassador.
The luxe Italian lingerie brand announced today that the multi-hyphenate icon is officially the face of Intimissimi, joining the ranks of international stars, like Irina Shayk and Sarah Jessica Parker, who have previously represented the brand.
"I feel connected to Intimissimi," Lopez exclusively tells BAZAAR.com "They encourage women to feel confident in their skin and, more importantly, to embrace that feeling! The designs reflect that. All of their pieces are elegant, luxe and wearable. You feel inspired and empowered as soon as you slip it on."
Intimissimi joins the growing list of luxe brands that the entertainment mogul has partnered with, including Coach, Guess, and L'Oréal Paris.
"When looking for a brand partner who embodies the spirit of all our iconic customers, we immediately looked to Jennifer Lopez," says Intimissimi CEO Matteo Veronesi. "We want women to live the most fulfilling life and feel empowered every day."
Lopez, who discovered the brand while traveling to Italy last year, describes the Intimissimi woman as "confident, playful, strong and timeless."
"I’m proud to be an Intimissimi woman and honored that they view me as someone who emulates their own qualities of confident, lively and strong," Lopez says.
As for Lopez's favorite Intimissimi pieces in her own wardrobe? "I love the silks! The robes and pajamas are so comfortable and are my go-to loungewear staples," she tells BAZAAR. "I also love the bras and panties with the intricate Italian lace detailing."
Besides relying on her go-to Intimissimi intimates, Lopez adds that she looks to her daily self-care routines in order to feel the most empowered and sexy version of herself.
"I love starting my day with my skin and body care routine followed by a positive mantra," she explains. "Quiet self care moments like my beauty rituals, draping myself in beautiful Intimissimi lingerie, help me stay grounded within myself no matter how chaotic the day ahead may be."
