Sessùn, the Marseille-based label founded in 1995 by Emma François is expanding its network in Europe. Adding to its network of 38 boutiques, the brand will soon be opening new stores in London, Mallorca and Lyon.

Sessùn with its bohemian chic style is set to open a new store in the Rhône-Alpes in France on May 23, at 5 avenue Maréchal de Saxe, in a 77-square-metre space located in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon. In France, the label also recently opened a shop in the McArthurGlen outlet near Giverny (Eure) and at the end of July will open its eighth store in the French capital on Rue Guichard in the 16 arrondissement. In October 2023, the brand will also be available at a permanent corner in Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in Paris.

The brand is also expanding in Spain. At the beginning of 2021, it made its debut in the country, starting in Madrid, before opening another store in Barcelona last December. This time, it is heading for the Balearic Islands, more specifically Mallorca, where it will open a 71-square-metre shop on Plaça del Mercat in Palma mid-June. In addition, at the beginning of July, Sessùn is opening its second boutique in Madrid, at 40 Calle de Claudio Coello, in a 112-square-metre space.
Across the Channel, the company, which welcomed Experienced Capital Partners group to its capital in 2017, opened a third location in London in mid-January 2023. The 52-square-metre space can be found in the Hampstead district, at 61 Hampstead High Street. A fourth store in the capital is already planned for the end of June: it will be located in the Covent Garden area, at 20 Floral Street, and will cover 63 square metres.

The brand, which had sales of around 40 million euros in 2021, has also announced openings for next September, in Frankfurt, which will be its fourth store in Germany, and in Brussels in Belgium, where it already has one store.
In all its points of sale, the designer and her teams like to create a style that reflects the spirit of the location of the store, including local materials, furniture and art objects. Sessùn is very fond of artisans and young designers. In its Marseille Alma boutique it has brought together ceramics, lamps, books and cosmetics, as well as a café. This is also refelcted through the brand's recently launched 'Craft Prize', an international competition dedicated to know-how and creation.
