It’s Eurovision Contest weekend and it’s big, especially in Liverpool, the city hosting the event on behalf of war-torn Ukraine.

Its Liverpool One flagship store’s celebrations of all-things Eurovision started this week and will culminate on Sunday (14 May).
Highlights are musician Sophie Ellis-Bextor hosting one of her ‘Kitchen Disco’ parties in the Kitchen Department, while daily musical performances include the Liverpool Rainbow Chorus Choir fundraising for the Big Help Project, supporting Liverpool’s Ukrainian community. There’s also Spin the Wheel prizes, Charlotte Tilbury’s ‘Pillow Talk’ double-decker bus and ‘fizz’ stations, serving complimentary prosecco. Charlotte Tilbury’s Expert Retail Artists will also be on hand to give customers access to the make-up secrets of the red carpet, with a choice of eye, lip and cheek Quick Trick touch-up services.
Jackie Wild, Events and Marketing Coordinator at John Lewis Liverpool said: “Eurovision fever has already started to sweep across the city and we are ready to welcome the thousands of visitors in-store.”
