SS23 Rubirosa: New vibes, everlasting values
Swiss Brand RUBIROSA is about to launch its new SS2023 collection, inspired by the virgin tropical nature and the smooth Caribbean vibe, a tribute to the homeland of the character the brand is named after, the Dominican Porfirio Rubirosa. New models, new colours and finishes, but also a selection featuring smooth styles suitable for any gender. Yet some other things remain solidly and proudly the same, like the brand’s peculiar “quiet luxury attitude” and its engagement with sustainability.
All greenhouse gas emissions associated with RUBIROSA’s activities have been constantly reduced in the past years and the remaining emissions offset, thanks to the collaboration with carbon-connect AG organization. All RUBIROSA shoes are Made in Italy in compliance with EU environmental protection regulations, health and safety legislation in the workplaces. And the close-to-home supply chain is also key to reduce carbon emissions.
For every pair of sneakers sold RUBIROSA plants a tree in partnership with the non-profit organization Treellionaire. The company actively supports other positive projects like the RMDLT Portel-Pará REDD Project in Brazil, helping to mitigate climate change, creating a positive socio-economical impact for local communities and helping protect wildlife and natural habitats.
Most importantly, it’s the spirit of the brand itself to be inherently sustainable with its commission to a quality made to last. High class materials, premium craftsmanship and timeless design ensure not only refined elegance, but also great durability. More durability means longer-lasting products, which means less waste, which is the key to ultimate sustainability.
