Tokyo-based fashion brand Ambush has partnered with Ledger to create an exclusive liquid metal case designed for the highly coveted new Ledger Stax.
Ledger unveiled Ledger Stax in December 2022, as a secure hardware device that offers a seamless experience and guarantees the protection of cryptocurrency transactions.
Inspired by the beauty of a water droplet, the case features a polished aesthetic, an intuitive interface, and cutting-edge security capabilities, guaranteeing the protection of cryptocurrency transactions. Designed by Ambush founders Yoon and Verbal, the case offers protection and convenience, but it also adds a touch of style and sophistication to anyone’s everyday look.
"We're thrilled to be working with Ledger on this project," said Yoon. "The liquid metal wallet is not only visually striking but also a testament to the power of innovation and collaboration. We can't wait for people to see it and experience the unique features it has to offer."
Ledger is no stranger to luxury fashion partnerships. In 2022, it collaborated with Fendi to create limited edition cases for the cryptocurrency hardware wallet. Inspired by Fendi’s iconic Baguette and O'Lock, Fendi reimagined the classics with two, emboldened wallet cases crafted from lightweight aluminum, elevated with a futuristic high-shine finish.
Likewise, Ambush, which made its Paris debut in 2015, has been pushing the boundaries as a fashion brand in web3. In February 2022, it introduced its Pow! Reboot NFT collection and launched its proprietary metaverse “Silver Fctry”.
Ian Rogers, chief experience officer at Ledger, said, “Increasingly our technology choices reflect a facet of our personalities. The culture we consume, share, and collect is digital - Yoon + Verbal move effortlessly between the physical and digital as if the boundary doesn’t exist. We’re honored to have this case designed by Yoon to be our first collaboration for Ledger Stax.”
Ledger also recently announced Yoon and Verbal as members of 'SZN 2' of the Ledger Pro Team, a collection of Web3 thought leaders, creators, artists, technologists, developers, futurists and disruptors, that aim to educate and inspire in Web3.
