Adidas and Prada launch football shoe collection

For the collection, which is aimed at men and women, the two companies joined forces "to explore and celebrate the foundations of their respective DNAs," Prada explains. The result is Adidas performance footwear "reinterpreted with luxurious materials, meticulous craftsmanship and design details synonymous with Prada's Linea Rossa."

The collection features models such as the 'Adidas Football for Prada X Crazyfast', the 'Prada Predator Accuracy' and the 'Prada Copa Pure'. All shoes have an inner lining and an upper "expertly crafted from the finest leather" - a material that Adidas is using for the first time in its football footwear. 

The shoe designs are characterised by the red iconography of the Linea Rossa and a monochrome base of black, white and silver.

For the presentation of the Adidas Football for Prada collection, the two brands teamed up with some of the best football players in the world. Catarina Macario and Paulo Dybala wore the Copa Pure model, while Rafael Leão showed off the X Crazyfast model and Pedri the Predator Accuracy.

As part of the collaboration, an exclusive jersey with the same design codes as the shoe collection will be presented for the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team TM video game. An animated in-game version of the jersey and shorts in black and white has been developed for the occasion, further celebrating the combination of Prada and Adidas, and aiming to translate the partnership from the physical to the digital/gaming world.

The collection will be available in limited quantities from May 22 to 25 via the Adidas Confirmed app, the Prada online shop and in selected Prada shops from May 25. All the models have been priced at 500 euros.
