Rene Caovilla opens Selfridges pop-up

So it is with the latest at Selfridges with upscale shoe specialist Rene Caovilla having just opened a pop-up in the retailer’s Oxford Street, London, flagship’s destination shoe department.

The giant space is hosting the pop-up until 9 July on the second floor of the store. It’s showcasing a wide range of styles from the brand and highlights the label’s well-known Cleo style, which is actually celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. 

The pop-up also precedes two additional activations from the brand scheduled for the summer across the UK. Rene Caovilla is bringing its distinctive style to the Selfridges Birmingham branch from 11 June to 2 July and to the Selfridges Exchange Square location in Manchester from 4 July to 25 July. 

Selfridges has been playing host to a raft of pop-ups and special editions in recent months led by the permanent pop-up space that is the Selfridges Corner Shop (which has recently hosted Marine Serre, Elton John and a circularity-focused initiative called the Stock exchange). Other temporary activations throughout the London store have included 66°North’s festival-focused capsule, Gabriela Hearst’s handbag pop-up, La Maison Couture’s jewellery pop-up and many more.
