As a women’s luxury workwear brand “that empowers self-belief, elevates workwear and champions ambition”, The Fold is big on high-profile link-ups.

And via its ongoing ‘Fold Woman’ series, which features a diverse cross-section of inspiring women from different backgrounds and industries, the brand has now collaborated with Manchester City Women’s Football Club.
The new campaign – Preparation is Everything — aims to boost female professionals’ self-confidence and help them prepare for career success. It spotlights five “groundbreaking” Manchester City Women and shares their stories.
The chosen players are Alex Greenwood, Deyna Castellanos and Laura Coombs who feature alongside the club’s Chief Marketing and Fan Experience Officer Nuria Tarré, and former England and Manchester City goalkeeper and current Project Officer at the club, Karen Bardsley.
The women reveal the practical things they do to prepare for an important match or big moment, they share details on what helps them focus and get into the right mindset. Importantly, it also highlights how dressing well “has a positive influence on their mood and confidence”.
This latest activity is part of The Fold’s partnership with Manchester City Women which officially launched in November 2022. The brand continues to provide the team’s players and key staff “with access to a selection of quality tailoring for another season, including its bestselling Clever Crepe suits”.
