Louis Vuitton opens new store in East Hampton
After setting out plans to rebuild its flagship New York City location, Louis Vuitton has recently opened its first store in the Hamptons.
At 1 Main Street in East Hampton, the beachside location is a shopping hub for vacationing New Yorkers and coastal dwellers. The fashion house has joined a slew of already existing luxury retail stores, including Gucci, Brunello Cuccinelli, and Loro Piana—all of which are steps away from the new Louis Vuitton boutique.
Opening its doors on May 26, Louis Vuitton kicked off the opening with the new LV by the Pool collection. The collection is exclusive to the store.
Mirroring the airy, blue-and-white aesthetic of LV by the Pool, the interior design takes inspiration from its nautical surroundings, with macramé decor, artisan-made lanterns, and a monogrammed hammock.
The store offers ready-to-wear, handbags, accessories, as well as a selection of men’s and women’s pieces. The East Hampton storefront will also sell lifestyle items and homewares, including cocoon chairs and a made-to-order ping pong table.
