Many people may not know that luxury e-tailer Mytheresa is also a physical retailer and it remains committed to this aspect of its business, having just announced the reopening and expansion of its menswear store in Munich’s city centre (at Schäfflerstrasse 4-6).

The store originally opened in 2020, during one of the toughest periods for physical retail, but it has clearly proved its worth and it’s now grown from 100 sq m to around 300 sq m.
The store features a “highly curated selection” of men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, and footwear collections from a variety of big names.
They include Bottega Veneta, Celine, Gucci, Givenchy, Jil Sander, Moncler, Prada and Saint Laurent. The store also recently introduced Loewe, Jacquemus and Brunello Cucinelli to its designer portfolio.
Studio Baciocchi’s signature design concept “showcases luxurious materials and innovative spatial arrangements,” we’re told.
It has a “modern aesthetic that seamlessly blends natural materials and mirrored elements”. And it connects the existing design from the original store with new elements.
The location has a large storefront and new entrance that “invites customers” in. There are also two additional fitting rooms and a repositioned cashier area to “enhance the convenience and offer superior customer service”.
Despite the larger size, it retains “an intimate home-like atmosphere”.
Company CEO Michael Klinger said the store now offers a “greatly enhanced” way for consumers to shop and that the retailer wants to “create the best luxury shopping experience for menswear”.
