Cercio, who joined Gucci in November 2022 as global communications director, will now assume responsibility for the Gucci Archive and Gucci Garden in what is an expansion of his former role, as initially reported by WWD.

Alongside Cercio, Gucci further announced the appointment of Cedric Murac to the role of senior vice president of global brand image and content studio.
Joining the company from June 26, Murac will work alongside the teams of art buying, photo studio, storytelling, editorial content and the corporate image department.
He brings to Gucci over two decades of experience, having previously served as executive vice president, global creative at Calvin Klein after holding a variety of positions at beauty giant Estée Lauder Companies.
The news comes as Gucci continues to rejig its presence and communications following the exit of its former creative director, Alessandro Michele.
A collection designed by the brand’s in-house team was presented during the most recent Milan Men’s Fashion Week for spring 2024, while its new creative director and former Valentino designer Sabato De Sarno is preparing to step into the helm with his debut collection to come in September.
