KTGfashionhouse: From Surgery to British Vogue Spotlight
The year opened with a challenging twist for the KTGfashionhouse designer Kristin Brady. Early in the year, the need for surgery presented itself, casting an uncertain shadow over the upcoming months for the designer. However, the narrative took an uplifting turn during her three weeks post-operation recovery. Celia Pope of British Vogue contacted her, extending an invitation to the summer designer profile series. This three-month journey, commencing in June, offered an exciting opportunity for KTGfashionhouse to be featured in a globally revered publication.
The first issue featuring this burgeoning designer was released in print and online on May 23, 2023. Sharing the pages with stars like Miley Cyrus, who adorns the June issue's cover, was a momentous occasion for Kristin.
A profound admirer of Edward Enninful, British Vogue's editor-in-chief, the designer viewed this inclusion as a significant achievement. With anticipation and excitement brimming, she awaits the upcoming issues. In collaboration with their long-time friend, photographer Wil Lopez, they've prepared a collection of striking images for the world to see.
In spite of the year commencing on a sombre note, the designer envisions the latter half brimming with fashion-forward surprises and opportunities.
