The Underrated Denim Trend That Will Make Your Outfits Look Expensive

Jeans are on heavy rotation in my weekly wardrobe. As a denim-obsessed fashion editor, I own enough styles, silhouettes, and washes to last me a lifetime. But there's one denim trend that elevates my outfits above all others—especially when paired with the right pieces—and that is (drumroll, please) white jeans.

Some of my absolute favorite, luxe-looking ensembles I spot on Instagram almost always feature crisp white denim. Chic and effortlessly elegant, white denim has rightfully earned its place as a year-round staple thanks to its variety of silhouettes and versatility. 

Of course, not all white jeans are created equal. And it takes some trial and error to find the silhouette, fabric, and shade that makes you feel the most confident and comfortable. Below, I've made the search a little easier and featured some of my absolute favorites for all budgets. For a luxe look, style a pair of high-waisted jeans with a crisp white tee and contrasting black accessories. A long black coat will create an elongated effect.
