NEW LOOKS AT THE CLOT X FRAGMENT X NIKE DUNK LOW SURFACE
CLOT is doing it big for its birthday year (it turns 20!), and rightfully so. Fresh off an impressive Cortez collab, the brand is set to link again with Nike and Fragment Design.
For the three-way collab (which isn't their first time, by the way), the minds will tackle the beloved Dunk Low sneaker.
Early last month, official images surfaced, revealing the collaborative Dunk with a tearaway silk upper, like the three's 2019 Air Force 1 collab.
The upper again boasts an embroidered pattern, rendered in white for a clean, tonal look. Black takes over the tongue, lace system, and insole, providing some classic monochrome contrast.
The three keep things simple and understated down below, too, opting for a translucent sole for the collaborative Dunk.
And last but certainly not least, "CLOT" and "FRGMNT" are stitched on the heel tabs, while Nike branding hits elsewhere.
Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara teased in-hand and on-foot looks at the CLOT x Fragment Design x Nike Dunk Low sneaker and a seemingly collaborative graphic t-shirt featuring a panda.
Fujiwara's caption? "Love CLOT." CLOT co-founder Edison Chen's response? "Love FRAG."
There's no word on when these silky Dunk Lows are landing. But with official Nike pics and teasers by one of the collaborators, I'll say: we probably won't be waiting long for details. Patience, sneakerheads.
