My Wardrobe HQ launches Amrika London collab ahead of Eid
Another new arrival to the growing UK luxury rental and resale arena comes via My Wardrobe HQ. It has collaborated with retailer Amrika London to offer the first luxury South Asian collection.
Launching ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebration on 21 April, the collection will encompass pieces from Amrika’s curated collection of South Asian designers.
The My Wardrobe HQ x Amrika collection will offer exclusive ready-to-wear pieces from designers such as Elan, Ridhi Mehra, Archana Rao, SVA and Payal Singhal, available for rental from four days.
With a focus on occasion and resort wear, the collection includes kaftans, embroidered gowns, silk jumpsuits as well as floral appliqué and prints.
“The collaboration will cater to the growing British South Asian community, looking for a sustainable way of shopping for cultural celebrations and weddings”, the platform said.
Jackie Bansal Nandhra, founder of Amrika London, added: “As advocates of slow fashion, and made to order pieces, our values align perfectly here. At Amrika, we are keen to bring South Asian designers to the mainstream and continue to break barriers. Joining forces with MWHQ allows us to make these sensational pieces accessible and easy to incorporate in one's evolving wardrobe.”
