PALACE X EVISU HITS A PEAK WITH PART 3
All good things must come to an end. As we throttle towards summer's onset, PALACE and EVISU offer up their third and final collaborative collection, adding a third element to their nostalgia trip.
Fashion, in particular, feels the warm embrace of nostalgia. For the past few years, Y2K trends have held dominance, seeing to the return of Ed Hardy, Von Dutch, trucker caps, rhinestones, and plenty more. At the same time, the 90s have remained an era of adoration, never too far from the spotlight.
Few have held these periods in such high regard as PALACE. Through the late 90s and into the early 2000s, the British club scene, particularly in London, was at a peak, with the bubbling of new subcultural movements, music genres, and DJs making their mark on the city.
With that came a revolution in style, characterized by EVISU jeans, Moschino prints, Air Max, Tn caps, and the rest.
Showing its love of the rave styles that have remained a staple of the scene over the past two decades, PALACE embarks on a collaborative trilogy with EVISU – a trilogy heavy on graphics, denim, and flair, that hits a peak with SS23.
Symbolic of the season, the third iteration of PALACE x EVISU – which is available from April 14 in the US, EU, and UK via PALACE and DSM (London & LA) – the collection's denim features embroidered cherry blossom at the rear, while camo pieces go heavy on EVISU's signature graphic pockets.
Tying it all together is a line-up of sweats, tees, and trucker caps, all brought to life in a campaign featuring British club culture legends DJ Anz, D Double E, and the hugely influential Heartless Crew.
