Poetic Brands links with Pacha for major apparel line
Entertainment meets fashion in the latest interesting tie-up, bringing together apparel supplier Poetic Brands and nightclub/hospitality group Pacha.
UK-based Poetic Brands, which supplies retailers Matalan, Boohoo and ASOS, has signed a multi-year pan-Europe/UK partnership with the Ibiza-based nightclub brand to design, manufacture and supply men’s and women’s apparel, accessories and beachwear.
The pioneer of Ibiza’s dance and cultural movement is marking its 50th anniversary this year with the substantial Poetic Brands-produced range of merchandise expected to be in-store for SS24.
The cherry logo-ed brand’s extension into fashion is part of a carefully curated expansion across nightlife, restaurants, hotels across the Balearic Islands and beyond. It also has has 11 standalone fashion stores, nine across the Balearic Islands and two on the Greek island of Mykonos.
Within the collaboration, Poetic Brands said it will also be targeting all major European fashion retailers, as well as online retailers, to support the launch.
Fabio Lenzi, group brand and development director at Pacha, said: “This is a great partnership for us, and one we want to celebrate on and off the dance floor. With the help of Poetic Brands, one of the most respected names in ethically sourced coordinated lifestyle ranges, we are looking forward to producing a truly memorable range of apparel and accessories.”
The deal marks Pacha's first foray into licensed clothing, having previously outsourced the design and distribution of branded belts to accessories group Rawhide.
Stockists of Poetic Brands' Pacha range will be confirmed closer to the launch date, it said.
