Activewear brand Montirex launches at JD Sports
UK sports retail giant JD Sports has debuted British activewear brand Montirex’s “technical, cutting-edge clothing”.
The brand said it “empowers athletes across the world with a system of clothing that performs for every activity… bridging the gap between streetwear and sportswear”.
The now-three-year-old Liverpool-based Montirex, founded by Daniel Yuen and Kieran Riddell-Austin, has been “quickly amassing a celebrity-like following with its must-have running pants, T-shirts and shorts”.
Designed for men, women, and kids, the affordable activewear brand includes a wide collection of sport and fashion-focused staples that will be available both online and in-store at JD.
Key pieces for men include the Trek 2.0 Windrunner Jacket (£68) with a water-resistant finish and adjustable hood; Curve Run Track Pants (£55) in a slim fit with elasticated waistband and internal drawcord for custom comfort; and Track Fade T-Shirt (£33) in a fiery orange colourway, made from a light and breathable poly fabric, with a crew neckline and short sleeves for a classic look.
For women, extra support is provided via the Energy Seamless Bra (£35), a tight-fit staple made from lightweight knit fabric with a racerback detail and seamless finish for comfort. There are also Icon Tights (£30), a high-rise fitness legging in a figure-hugging fit; and Trail 2.0 T-Shirt (£33), featuring reflective branding at the chest and added stretch.
