Dior names K-pop Haerin as brand ambassador
K-pop icon Haerin, from the group NewJeans, has been named Dior's ambassador for jewelry, fashion and beauty.
According to the official NewJeans Instagram account, Haerin will be a Dior global ambassador for jewellery, and a house ambassador for fashion and beauty. Most recently, Haerin graced the cover of the May issue of Vogue Korea.
“This is an opportunity to celebrate the privileged ties binding more than ever the NewJeans singer and Dior. Between elegance and audacity, a unique friendship in the name of creativity,” Dior said in a statement.
The 16-year-old member of K-pop girl group NewJeans is the latest member to snag a luxury ambassador role. Chanel snagged member Minji; Gucci and Armani Beauty are working with Hanni; Burberry and YSL Beauty has Danielle, and Hyein is with Louis Vuitton.
Haerin is not the first K-pop icon that Dior has collaborated with. The brand has also worked with the likes of Blackpink‘s Jisoo and Cha Eun-woo of Astro, to name a few.
